The short answer

What is a good free tournament creator?

A good tournament creator should do more than draw boxes. SportsPal turns registered Clubs into a live competition: choose knockout or round-robin, generate the draw or fixtures, enter scores, advance winners and show every Club what happens next—all from a free mobile app.

One clear rhythm

From an idea to a champion without a spreadsheet.

Tournament day stays understandable because every action leads naturally to the next one.

Choose the competition

A bracket when every match matters. A league when every Club should play.

SportsPal gives each format the structure it needs instead of forcing league tables through bracket logic.

KNOCKOUT

Tournament bracket generator

Build a clean single-elimination competition and move winners toward the final without manually rebuilding the bracket.

Generate a fixed bracket with the full path to the final visible from the start.
Or draw round by round and reshuffle the Clubs that are still alive.
Record a winner directly, or enter the score and let SportsPal select the winner.
Automatic progression from the opening round to quarter-finals, semi-finals, final and champion.
ROUND-ROBIN

League fixture generator

Generate the round-robin schedule, record every result and let a proper league table tell the story of the competition.

Every registered Club plays every other Club.
Fixtures are organized by round instead of squeezed into a knockout tree.
Draws are supported and results update played, score difference and points.
Standings stay ranked as the league progresses.

Not temporary team names

Real Clubs enter. Real communities remain.

A SportsPal tournament is connected to persistent Clubs, their custom badges and registered members. The competition can introduce an entire group to SportsPal—and still give them a useful home after the final whistle.

Questions, answered

Before you create the first fixture.

SportsPal version 1.2.3 includes the free tournament system on iOS and Android.

Is the SportsPal tournament creator free?

Yes. SportsPal is free to download and use on iOS and Android, including tournament creation, Club registration, draws, fixtures, standings and result entry.

Can I create both a knockout bracket and a round-robin league?

Yes. Choose a knockout tournament with a fixed bracket or a fresh round-by-round draw, or create a round-robin league where every Club plays every other Club and standings update from results.

How does automatic tournament progression work?

The organizer records the result and confirms the winner. SportsPal advances the winner through a fixed bracket automatically, or collects all winners for the next round-by-round draw.

Does SportsPal support real Clubs and rosters?

Yes. Tournament entries use persistent SportsPal Clubs with their names, badges and registered members rather than temporary team-name text.

Can I set limits for Clubs and players?

Yes. Organizers can set the maximum number of Clubs and roster-size requirements when creating a tournament.
